Having dropped the wave making
single ‘Odun Yi’ that is enjoying massive acceptance among his fans,
Oluwajuwonlo James Iledare popularly known as Jaywon, has squashed the rumour
making rounds that he has left Kennis music for good.
The talented singer dropped the
hint in an interview with journalists recently cancelling every doubt casted over
his contract and relationship with Kennis Music. “The thing is I’m still very
much with Kennis music; kennis music has been there for me and I’m still with
them but when my contract expires you guys are going to know” Jaywon submitted.
The Facebook Love crooner also
gave an insight on his plans to have his own record company that will handle the
management of artistes. “I’m working on my own record label which I’m going to
open. Open a record label that is mine, build up a team for myself even though I’m
still going to work with Kennis music.
But it is only normal for “Omose” to graduate and decide if he wants to
stay or he doesn’t want to stay”. He said.
Jaywon who used his single ‘Odun
Yi’ to encourage his fans and friends to hope for greater blessings this year, recently
had his car, a black Lincoln Navigator smashed in an accident that involved his
friends Lanre. Lanre left the location of Jaywon’s video shoot for an unknown
destination but had a crash on the way, Lanre left the scene unhurt but the car
was badly damaged.
