Koga Discovers New Talent




Last week Koga Entertainment further demostrates its willingness to support the entertainment industry by organizing an Open House Talent Hunt. The Koga Entertainment compound was filled to the rafters with hundreds of hopefuls who slugged it put to impress the ten judges made up of sought-after music producers in the land.

The Koga Open House is a two day talent hunt organized by Koga Entertainment. The search is all about discovering new, untapped and talented musicians, singers or songwriters in all genres of music, at the end of the show ten people were picked and they get the opportunity of having their songs produced by ten of the best producers.
The world was indeed the stage for the teeming number of people that turned out for the hunt and it was indeed a survival of the fittest as they all sought to garner the attention of the judges. After 2 grueling days of wonderful performances of rap, soul, R and B, jazz, reggae, fuji, gospel and soul music and careful scrutiny, 30 people were chosen to enter the final round. These 30 were narrowed down to the 10 winners who are to be produced by each of the judges while the remaining 20 were compensated with a recording session each at the renowned Koga studios.
Koga Entertainment made good their promise as ten of the best producers in the music industry were in attendance and also doubled as the judges of the show. The producers includes OJB Jezreel (produced Tuface's African Queen), Mr Daz (produced Faze's Tattoo Girls), Puffy Tee (produced Olu Maintain's Yahooze), Don Adah (producessssssd Christine Ben Ameh's Daddy), Black Jersey (produced Nomoreloss's Ojuri), Kraftmatics (produced Mode 9), Phat E (produced Jodie’s Kuchi Kuchi), P. Edwards (produced B.N.G), Jokaynie (produced Jimmy Jatt’s Stylee) and K.Solo.

The winners and the producers they would work with are Skinny Tweed (Ojb Jezreel), D ribs (K Solo), Chindosky (Phat E), Brainchild (Jokaynie), Jammin’ Jones (Mr. Daz), K Prince (Puffy Tee), Meka (Kraftmatics), G6 (Don Adah), John Bliss (Patrick Edwards) and Omo Pastor (Black Jersey).

According to Nomoreloss, the anchor at the event, “Koga Entertainment hopes to bring these talents closer to their dreams with the talent hunt, we will produce a song for the top 10 finalists under these seasoned producers and sign two exceptional ones from them”.
