The Wed
Expo, a wedding exhibition is scheduled to hold at the Palace, Tafawa Balewa
Square, Lagos between the 21st and 24th of March, 2013.
Compared
to the past editions, this year’s Wed Expo has been slated to show The Wed
awards which will be dedicated to the recognition of the best and brightest of
wedding professionals in the industry. In addition to that, this edition will
feature a “Wine Fest” as a result of the high levels of wine and spirits
consumption at weddings in Nigeria.
It will
be noted that last year’s Wed Expo which was held at the Haven, GRA, Ikeja,
Lagos had in attendance exhibitors drawn from the makeup industry, bridal
accessory retailers, photography video studios, dress makers, cakes makers,
decorators, planners, and aso oke makers among others.
Stake holders
have already grabbed the opportunity of the 40percent of booth sales promo, in
order to showcase their products and services and organizers say the numbers of
participants are growing.
Wed Expo
comes from the stables of the producers of WED magazine, a wedding planning
Magazine, which centres on relationships and family. There would also be live
performances by artistes at the event.
